between many companies, including: Paul Frank Stores, Shiseido and C'Bon Cosmetics, Takashimaya and Iwataya Department Stores, Macy's, Bloomingdales, Nishijin Necktie Co., Graphic-sha Publishing Co., and Japan Air Lines.

Mr. Abe decided to devote his law practice exclusively to Estate Planning because he recognized that many of his friends had failed to do proper estate planning and as a result, their families suffered severe financial consequences in the form of high estate taxes, probate fees, court and attorney's fees, and long delays in distributing the assets of the estate. By focusing his practice on Estate Planning, he has been in a position to help as many families as possible to avoid the pitfalls of failing to have a proper Estate Plan.

Mr. Abe is active in public service, and currently serves as Commissioner of the San Francisco Rent Board. He has also served as Commissioner of the San Francisco Assessment Appeals Board.

Calvin J. Abe is a 1974 graduate of King Hall, University of California, Davis School of Law. In his law practice, he specialized in international business transactions primarily between US and foreign companies in the fields of publishing, licensing and beauty and cosmetics products. For many years, he served as a Deputy Attorney General of the State of California Department of Justice, specializing in business and tax litigation.

In his international law practice, he has set up successful joint ventures or business contracts
