Mr. Abe decided to devote his law practice exclusively to Estate Planning because he recognized that many of his friends had failed to do proper estate planning and as a result, their families suffered severe financial consequences in the form of high estate taxes, probate fees, court and attorney's fees, and long delays in distributing the assets of the estate. By focusing his practice on Estate Planning, he has been in a position to help as many families as possible to avoid the pitfalls of failing to have a proper Estate Plan.
Mr. Abe is active in public service, and currently serves as Commissioner of the San Francisco Rent Board. He has also served as Commissioner of the San Francisco Assessment Appeals Board.
